HP Notebook - 15-ay103dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi,

I am unable to boot up my HP Notebook - Product # 1HZ43UA, serial [Personal Information Removed].

It stops at the blue screen stop error: Bad System Config Info.

Running Windows 10, version 10.0.19041.1

I ran HP test on the hard drive and the first quick test came back with Short DTS check failed:  Failure ID  M4NK1K-8J0B30-XD7UQ1-60QE03.

Would like to know what this failure ID means and how I can remedy.

Thank you.

Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char disk failure id indicates the HDD is failing and it needs to be replaced.. Is it still under warranty ? If NOT, you have to replace yourself then rebuild your machine.

For (original) Windows 10. Please use
