OMEN by HP - 15-dc0096nd
Microsoft Windows 11

On a boot up of my HP omen 15 a black screen with text popped up even though my os was fine some hours ago.

Please install an operating system on your harddisk hard disk - (3f0).

I followed some YouTube guides to fix this problem. What I found out was that they recommended me to do some things like these:

-A hard drive check with f2. I did this and all of the checked things passed. This makes me think that the hard disk is there and working right

-Inside the boot options in my f10 enabling legacy support and disabling Secure boot. This did nothing for me as it kept going to the same screen.

I don't have that much knowledge of these kind of things. Advice on how to resolve my issue is appreciated, thanks!

Currently you cannot boot up but you can run diagnostics and can get into the BIOS.

Do not update bios when you have problems

Go into the BIOS and set all screens to default using the F9 key. Check every menu

Verify defaults here except you can set fan always on if  you want

Load HP factory Defaults on every menu you see it.

Makes sure secure boot is enabled, set date and time and be sure to save when exiting.

Try booting.  If you fail try the updated UEFI diagnostics

HP releases newer UEFI diagnostics periodically.
When you select F2 during boot you are requesting UEFI diagnostics.
There is an updated diagnostics package Click Here
Look for the phrase 'issues outside the OS',
Expand the '+' symbol and click the DOWNLOAD button.
The version of the UEFI diagnostics is shown at the left of that DOWNLOAD button.
When you press F2 to run diagnostics please ensure the version is the new one.

This can be installed from a USB flash drive if necessary.  When you boot or run the new diagnostics make sure it is the latest version.

If you continue to get 3F0 you need to replace the disk drive.
