Hi,

My laptop suddenly stopped when I was using lumion then after about 5 min I pressed power button after restart a blue screen showed up for a few seconds and I can't read error message.

Then I tried to boot from os boot manager same thing  then from usb nothing happened stuck on black screen

Finally, I tried hp system diagnostics memory check passed but the hard check didn't

Smart check: passed

Short&long check : failed

Hard drive 1

Failure id : rlw7hf-8sn9b6-xd7wmf-60x203

If this means that I should replace it with a new, should I buy I specific one or any one will be fine

Ps:

about a week ago someone checked it for bad sectors and repaired it.

Last format was 2 days ago and i only installed drivers, chrome, 3d max, revit and lumion.

The windows detect a hard drive check then asked me to restart to repair.

Hi:

Yes, you will have to replace the hard drive.

You can get any one you want (even a solid state drive), up to 2 TB in storage capacity.

Get a drive that is 2.5" wide, 7.0 mm thick.
