Hello folks. I'm aware that a recent HP Victus BIOS update made several laptops unbootable/erratic.
My victus model is a slightly less mainstream one( it has an RX5500M;R5600H)
I also plan to downgrade to windows 10 soon, so If I decide to update my BIOS, will the downgrade lead to issues?
p.s: I recently purchased the laptop(just adding in case it might be useful)
P.P.S : My current BIOS version is : AMI F.14 (HPQOEM-1072009)
Thank you.

Hey,
I am also on the AMI F.14 BIOS on my Victus 15 with a 5600H and 6500M. My laptop is bootable, but I have suddenly run into issues regarding thermals (according to HWInfo64).
What kind of things have happened to your laptop since receiving the F.14 revision?
I also have looked for a way to downgrade to an older BIOS, for some reason I believe I was on F.12 when I originally purchased my laptop in August 2022, but I can't remember exactly.

I just got the laptop and it came preinstalled with F.14; I am not aware of any performance drops due to F.14(I havent tested it yet). I have downgraded to windows 10(my laptop came with windows 11), and so far, have not experienced any issues. HP lists F.15 BIOS update on their drivers page for my device. But I am not upgrading to F.15 since F.14 seems to be working fine.
