Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
840 G2 Went to replace CPU Fan as it was making a bit of noise. Went smooth blew out with some canned air. After put all the screws back I press power and I see Caps Lock flash and on left front there is a little slot and light flicker in there a bit but will not boot. Tried a different HD and reseating the RAM and no dice. I read on Why would this be? I read one flash is CPU possibly but I find it hard to see why the CPU would go bad by simply replacing a fan.
e
Should the laptop function without all the screws in as i am trouble shooting with them out obviously. Seem like somthing not making connection.
