Hi everyone, I am Chris Bok and I have an HP EliteBook Folio 9480m which has been starting alone for several months already, it just needs to be plugged into a wall outlet and it starts directly on its own ... I have tried several solutions but nothing, so if you have an idea or a solution, that will be great of you. P.S: The battery is dead. Thank you !

Hi,

Do you have the "dead" battery in the notebook?

I would try replacing the RTC battery part number 702853-001

You can actually replace the battery CR2032 which is inside the black plastic you are not able to find the actua part.

Then go into BIOS and set the date and time.

Hope it helps,

David
