Hi @Ashutosh42,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
To automatically wake or turn on your notebook when you open the lid, enable the Power On When Lid is Open feature in the BIOS.
Note: This feature is only supported on newer notebooks. If you see this feature listed in the BIOS, it is supported on your notebook.
Whether this feature is enabled by default varies based on system configuration.
Enable or disable the Power On When Lid is Open feature
- Use these steps to enable or disable the Power On When Lid is Open feature in the BIOS.
- Methods to open the BIOS settings depend on the CPU, BIOS version, and notebook manufacture date. If these steps fail and Windows starts, shut down the computer, and then perform these steps again.
- Turn off the computer, and then press the power button.
- Before Windows starts, press f10 repeatedly to enter BIOS Setup Utility.
Note: You might need to press esc first to open the Startup Menu.
Use the arrow keys to navigate to the System Configuration tab.
Use the arrow keys to select Boot Options.
Select Power On When Lid is Opened to enable this feature. To disable this feature, clear the check box.
Note: The appearance of the BIOS varies depending on your system configuration.
Navigate to the Exit tab, and then select Exit Saving Changes.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
