Hello everyone, thank you for stopping by.
So I was given a notebook, i.e. hp 240 g5 by my state government for scoring well in my examination. But to make sure that the student feels grateful 24x7, my govt. decided to put an ugly logo on the boot(POST) screen. I even updated my bios from the offical hp website but no avail. Now that I have UEFI Windows 10, the ugly firmware image stays even longer while booting up. Any help regarding the removal of that splash screen image.
Things I have tried:
-updating bios
-resetting bios
-reinstalling Windows
-turning on NoGUI boot in msconfig
-HackBGRT
Thank you in advance. 🙂

I understand the issue as I have used Government-Issued laptops myself and there is always some kind of specialized splash screen, usually filled with security information and disclaimers.
But unfortunately, without access to the BIOS firmware code and a chip burner, there is really no way to modify this.
You would have to reprogram the BIOS code in the UEFI firmware of the motherboard -- and we are unable to provide any instructions on how to do that.
