My laptop just began locking up when rebooted, the message is that Google Chrome did not shut down correctly.  I've restored the pages and rebooted many times which doesn't fix the problem.  In trying to run the diagnostics test, I cannot change the language to English.  How do I reset it?

I understand you want help in changing the language on HP Diagnostics test. Don't worry I'll be really glad to help you with this,

Let's try these steps here:

  1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

  2. Turn on the computer and immediately press the F2 key repeatedly, about once every second.

  3. The HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu is displayed.

  4. In the main menu, click to select an option. To find out about your computer, for example, click Language, and On the next screen - English language should be the one on top

    Select English
