Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa0032dx (68Y11UA)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa0032dx (68Y11UA), with an HP 8a4f motherboard. When I go into the BIOS setup, I don't see an advanced tab. How can I find it?

Hi @mattSXTN,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To access the Advanced tab in the BIOS setup on your HP Victus Gaming Laptop (15-fa0032dx), follow these steps:

Accessing BIOS Setup

Power Off the Laptop: Ensure your laptop is completely powered down.

Turn It On: Power on your laptop.

Enter BIOS: Immediately after pressing the power button, repeatedly tap the F10 key. This should take you to the BIOS setup.

Navigating the BIOS

  • Look for the Advanced Tab: The layout of the BIOS can vary by model. If you don’t see an "Advanced" tab immediately:
    • Use the arrow keys to navigate through the available tabs or sections at the top of the screen.
    • If you see an “Advanced” option but it's not accessible, it might be hidden based on current BIOS settings or your specific model configuration.

Additional Steps

Check Other Tabs: Sometimes advanced settings are located under different tabs like "Configuration" or "Boot Options."

Reset to Default Settings: If you're unable to find the Advanced tab, you might want to reset BIOS settings to default. Look for an option like "Restore Defaults" or "Load Setup Defaults" and confirm the change.

BIOS Update: If you still don’t see the Advanced tab, ensure your BIOS is up to date. You can check HP’s support website for any available updates for your model.

Consult the Manual: If available, refer to your laptop’s user manual for specific details about accessing and navigating the BIOS.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
