Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. So midway through last year, my laptop tried to update windows 10 to help itself run smoother. The update went through, but unfortunately, somewhere along the way, it said there was a problem.

Since then, I’ve been unable to login. I’ve tried everything people have said; which from what I understand, this is a common issue with the HP Stream, but things only got worse as now I’m locked off from the HP loading screen, and F11 options won’t allow me to reset or reformat it.

I’d appreciate any and all help with squaring this problem away.

@Cardyn01,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not booting to Windows after a Windows update.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you contact support and order a recovery media for your computer. Using the recovery media you can reinstall the operating system back on the computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
