HP Stream - 11-ah117wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have tried the boot menu. I have tried every BIOS change I can...it's a known good Windows 10 installation USB drive. Also tried both USB ports on the machine. No matter what, the machine always just boots into Windows.

 

Thanks for any help. Machine is useless unless I can do this!

The Boot Menu accessed through F9 only lists the ALLOWABLE boot devices.

 

Elsewhere in the BIOS settings, look for one that mentions disabling boot from portable devices.  IF you turn that off and reboot, with a USB stick inserted, you should then see the USB listed in the Boot Device menu.
