My original os is 8.1
Ive tried holding the power button for 8-10 seconds
Ive tried a few combinations.. power and windows button... Power and mute and nothing seems to be working I also have a windows 8.1 cd

Let’s first try performing a Hard Reset or Forced Reset on your notebook. Follow the steps here: http://hp.care/2bjCZUr
Once you perform a force reset, try performing a recovery to get your Envy notebook to its factory reset. You can find the step by step instructions here: http://hp.care/2cf8noz
