I have the proper code to silently install but if some PC already has a bios password what would I need to add to this to resolve that? Lets say the BIOS password is Yellow@12345
C:\HPIA\HPImageAssistant.exe /Operation:Analyze /Category:Bios /selection:All /action:install /silent /AutoCleanup /reportFolder:c:\temp\HPIA\Report /softpaqdownloadfolder:c:\temp\HPIA\download

Hi @Moong2,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.
May I have the exact name and product number of the unit? Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Hi @Moong2,
Did you want to add a bios password to your HP laptop? If yes, I would need a few details.
Kindly elaborate more on the issue.
Are you getting any errors?
Yes, I would need the product number and name of the PC.

Hi @Moong2,
Thanks for your patience.
HP does not have any BIOS passwords setup by default on any of the laptops, and that its upto the end-user to create the password once its purchased.
If there's a password setup, any 3rd party application of your choice can be used that allows you to generate a BIOS_Password.bin file that contains the necessary password information and added to the silent installation process, alternatively, you can remove the BIOS password as that would be a lot easier compared to obtaining 3rd party applications as such.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Can you tell me where and what I need to add into the code for the bios password bin file? Lets say for example the bios file is called tempbiospw.bin. Also can we add more then one? For example if some other PCs had older bios passwords that has not been updated yet.
C:\HPIA\HPImageAssistant.exe /Operation:Analyze /Category:Bios /selection:All /action:install /silent /AutoCleanup /reportFolder:c:\temp\HPIA\Report /softpaqdownloadfolder:c:\temp\HPIA\download
