HP OmniBook Ultra 14 inch Laptop Next Gen AI PC 14-fd0000 (9J387AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have gone into the BIOS setup program, changed the boot order to start off the USB (so I can reinstall Windows 11) -- but the HP Omnibook does not seem to respond to the USB.  The USB was created from Microsoft's Media Creation Tool.  The BIOS setip menu seems complicated in its interface to change the boot order -- F5, ENTER, up/down arrows ... why can't HP make it plain and simple?

Of course, I saved my configurtion changes etc., the boot disk was certified by Microsoft Media Creation -- but it just wouldn't boot.

Please Help -- the HP user manual / guide is so generic it makes no mention of how to change the boot order.

@RTX,

See if you can use F9 boot options menu. . .

Turn on the notebook and immediately tap the F9 key for boot options. Select USB Flash Drive (or USB Hard Drive) and hit the Enter key to boot from the USB drive.

Thank you Sir!  It worked.  What is pathetic is this should be in the manual. Instead, there are several pages filling up space -- and no mention of F9.
