How to disable Power-On Authentication?

Hi:

 

You would enter the power on password you set for your notebook, go into the BIOS's security menu and clear the BIOS P/W.

 

If you have a consumer class notebook and you don't remember the power on password, enter any P/W 3 times and the PC should generate a system disabled code.

 

If it does, post the code, and we may be able to provide an unlock passcode for you.
