Hey recently this problem occured 

Yesterday i restart my device and got with the module stating as below........

 

 

admin_name/vsa server account     (in big font)

 

Enter Password

(Box to enter)

Keyboard Layout     (different layout of keyboard)

 

 

Plz reply......

I dont know what happen to trigger this issue(if anyone know plz let me know) nd last command i gave was to restart .......

One more thing after succesive 3 attempts it says.....

 

System Locked

Press the power button to restart the system 

 

If anyone know the solution plz reply.........................

For that model you will need to contact HP in your region and they should be able to send you a customized SMC.bin file which you can use at boot to reset the password.

When talking to the HP rep ask them to escalate your service request.

 

Just to note:

 

Do not try removing the RTC/BIOS battery.  It will not remove the password, but it will reset the clock - as SMC files are time coded, a large disparity between the system clock and the time encoded in the SMC will cause it to fail.

May i know what is the actual issue of my device....

Nd what trigger this issuse.....nd

What is that saying about vsa server account ......

 

Nd some said u neeed to replace motherboard(is it necessary)(nd is it true that there is steel plate on bios chip above G3 models of HP)

 

Do the SMC.bin will solve the issue...
