Hi @Abhay1-_,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your HP Envy x360 laptop's power button. If the power button is not working, it's important to address the issue promptly. While there isn't a direct alternative way to power on a laptop through the BIOS, you can try a few troubleshooting steps.
Check the Battery:
- Ensure that the laptop has sufficient battery power. Connect it to the power adapter and allow it to charge for a while. Sometimes, a low battery level can cause issues with powering on.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Shut down the laptop completely.
- Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery if it's removable.
- Press and hold the power button for at least 15-20 seconds.
- Reinsert the battery (if removable) and reconnect the power adapter.
- Try turning on the laptop again.
Use an External Keyboard:
- If the issue is with the laptop's built-in keyboard, you can try connecting an external USB keyboard. Some laptops can be powered on using an external keyboard.
Check for Other Physical Issues:
- Inspect the power button for any physical damage or debris. Clean the button carefully if needed.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
