Dear forum,
On this thread (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Boot-and-Lockup/17-Omen-2017-CPU-usage-ntoskrnl-ACPI-issue/td...) I want to reply, because I have the same issue.
However, there are no Reply buttons visible, and the thread is NOT archived.
How can I reply?
TIA,
Maarten

Hi:
Most likely the thread was locked by a forum moderator.
I recommend that you start a new post if you have the same issue.
The issue wasn't solved in that discussion, so posting that you have the same issue on that thread will not get many views/responses.

Thank you! You are right.
In the Message List I just discovered (I found the above mentioned post by search) there's a small icon showing the thread is both hot and locked.
One can only see this in the Message List, not while viewing a thread. So I missed that completely.
Thanks for your advise on a new post and visibility. I already made a new post two days ago, but didn't receive a reply yet.
Thanks again,
Maarten
