Good day to all!

I wanted to go to the BIOS, but there's a password. I called the seller, and he says he does not know the password. Please write how to reset the password in the BIOS?

Sincerely, Vlad!

Hello @vladnl

Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum.

Most business class notebooks (including yours Probook, and Elitebooks) have better security. Password cannot be removed here in the forum - you will have to contact HP Business Support for assistance on removing the password.

Here is how:

HP Business support should be able to send you a customised SMC.bin file and instructions which you can use  to reset the password. Note that assistance for such issues is usually free of charge for HP business class computers.

You are welcome !

3 months later, what do you mean it didn't help? Would you elaborate ?

HP didn't send you the SMC.bin file or what happened ?
