Hi
Well I have failed.
I know you have an excellent connection via ethernet, your ping is 11 ms my best is 18 ms.
But I cannot see the maker of the WiFi adapter, I have narrowed it down to a guess of Intel or Broadcom.
So I think you should start another thread and hopefully someone more wise in the ways of WiFi will assist.

The most important thing is that the unit is useful again. =]
Do you think one if these tiny USB<=>WiFi dongles you get at the China shops could help here, thus ignoring the actual problem?
Have a nice day,
Jo
