I was able to switch the BIOS boot mode to legacy using the F10 key which let me boot to Windows (slowly). My problem didn't turn out to be that the BIOS was bad, just that it was looking for an EFI partition and only finding the old MBR partition. Assuming your problem is the same, then the same process should work for you.
The big question would be whether you have the Acronis True Image backup (or can make one). Their 2016 & 2017 versions include a Universal Restore which lets you boot your restored version of Windows even on different hardware (ie different partitions). Even though the Acronis support tech said I didn't need that feature, Windows 10 decided I did. The Windows config was different enough to cause WIndows 10 to fail to load after the backup. Universal Restore fixed it.
If you have a backup with a program that allows you to recover to different hardware, or you don't mind starting with a fresh install of Windows 10, give it a try.
