Hello Every one:
The power-supply of my rather new laptop is combined the BATTERY & POWER-ADAPTER together.
We can not separate the battery from the pc. If the power-adapter is connected, then the battery
is always charging no matter it is full, 100%, or not.
What is the best way to prolong the battery? --Zhao

Hi @Zhao363,
Thank you for replying,
I appreciate your time and efforts,
(1) As long as the battery is more than 10%, we use the battery as power supply of the pc. Answering to your question, You can use the battery until it's reaches 10%, as there would a alert/notification that the battery is low. Before the battery dies, it is already recommended to charge the battery full and once it reaches 100% you can go ahead and unplug the AC adapter and continue to use the PC just with the battery.
(2) Always connect the power adapter and then the battery will be most-time maintain 100%. As suggested, once the battery is low, it is recommended to completely charge the battery to 100%, once it reaches 100% you can go ahead unplug the AC adapter and continue using the PC with the battery.
By doing this your battery will come for a longer time. I hope I have answered your question, let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.

Hi, Jeet_Sinph: Thank you for the reply.
From the view point to prolong the life of battery, which option is better of the following two:
(1) As long as the battery is more than 10%, we use the battery as power supply of the pc.
(2) Always connect the power adapter and then the battery will be most-time maintain 100%.
I am confused with the question above. --Zhao
