My laptop won't come on. Screen stays blank. Led light comes on for a few seconds then goes back off. No sounds. Fan doesn't sound like it's kicking on either. The light by the charger port comes on blue and it's been charging for about an hour. Yet still won't come on.

@Snaileeoso, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Perform a hard reset

If your computer suddenly fails to boot properly, perform a hard reset (power reset).

For detailed instructions on resetting your computer, see HP PCs - How to power reset your computer.

  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
  3. Remove any discs from the disc drive.
  4. Remove memory cards from the card reader slot.
  5. Disconnect all nonessential peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives.
  6. With the AC adapter unplugged, press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds.
  7. Reconnect the AC adapter, and then turn on the computer.

Refer to this guide for further troubleshooting steps: HP PCs - Computer starts but the screen remains blank (Windows 11, 10) | HP® Support
