Hp pro book
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello

This morning i tried to switch on my hp probook 4530s and it did not startup, so i pluggged in the ac adapter and still it does not switch on the led blinks for a few times for 8 seconds and stop, when i switch it on again it does the same thing repeatedly. I removed the battery several times and connects ac but nothing happened. And now all of the sudden it goes on with ac power and no battery plugged in it. Can you please help me jn this matter.

Hello,

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

This definitely sounds like a hardware issue. It might eventually end up for a service. However, for the diagnostics It is very important how many times the LED blinks/emits.

Please, review these 2 HP official articles about such issues you experience now. Follow the appropriate steps that fit your case to attempt to fix the issue:

If you did try everything but nothing helped, I am afraid you will need to bring your computer (or ship it) to service - HP Authorized service center. If the computer is still under warranty, you will need to notify HP support first. If you are not sure where such a center is located, please contact HP support for assistance in finding one. Here is more info:

Let me know how this goes. Do not hesitate to post again.
