Hp Elitebook 650 G9

I have an HP EliteBook 650 G9 laptop, and I can't boot in Legacy mode. The latest BIOS version is installed, but in BIOS mode, I can only see the UEFI option. I want to install Windows via PXE, but during the installation, it doesn't detect any drives. Based on my research, the only option is to boot in Legacy mode, but I haven't been able to do it."

New PC's do not have a legacy boot option.

You only have the option to enable or disable secure boot.

The reason Windows can't find any drives to install on is because you have to install the Intel storage controller drivers for PC's that come with Intel 11th > 13th generation core processors.

I have zipped up and attached the Intel storage controller drivers your PC needs below.

Unzip and copy all of the files in the folder in the attachment to a USB flash drive.

Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.

Boot from the Windows installation flash drive.

When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.

If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.

If Windows still can't find the drive, uncheck the box to include the compatible driver and try any of the ones listed.

Click Next, and Windows should install.

Unfortunately, I tried the file you mentioned, but I got the error: 'No new device drivers were found. Make sure the installation media contains the correct drivers, then click OK.

Sorry those drivers didn't work.

According to the specs your notebook has an Intel 12th generation core processor, so I don't know why those drivers didn't work.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.
