Hp envy m7 notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Product no. W2K86UA#ABA

my HP envy M7 will not boot I have tried to do the hard reset by holding down the power for x amount of seconds I’ve tried 15 30 60 etc. and still will not boot. The power button LED will come on but it will still not Boot To bios or any kind of GUI. And the power port LED blinks Continuously White while the power light is on. Eventually they both will just go out.

sorry for the lack of information but that’s about all I can give you is that is all I can gather...

thanks in advance for any assistance

@SChase1 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that HP envy m7 laptop will not boot.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

  • Please let me know when was working before.
  • Have you made any changes to the computer?
  • When you touch the power adapter(Brick type) is it warm or cold?

Please try with different wall outlets and check.

Please try with a different adapter and check.

It was working the day before I posted this. The brick is warm neither hot nor cool. Normal running temp. I already tried different outlets and i only have the one charger. LEDs come on but no display. Fans turn on as well.
