Hi @Bavi2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that  your HP laptop's power light is on but the display remains blank, and it keeps restarting, you can follow these troubleshooting steps to diagnose and potentially resolve the issue:

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the computer.
  • Disconnect the AC adapter.
  • Remove all peripherals, such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives. Please do not disconnect your mouse, keyboard, or monitor.
  • With the AC adapter unplugged, press and hold the power button for approximately 25 seconds.
  • Reconnect the AC adapter and attempt to turn on the computer.

Check for Power Issues:

  • Keep the AC adapter connected and allow the computer to charge for at least 30 minutes before pressing the power button again.
  • Ensure that the AC adapter you are using is the one that was shipped with your computer.

Run HP Battery Check:

  • If the computer turns on, you can perform a battery check using the HP Support Assistant software to diagnose battery issues. You can find instructions on how to run this check in the HP Support Assistant once you have the application open.

Take care and have an amazing day!
