Hi @Danniel4002 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP Pavilion notebook. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the problem:

Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if possible).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the battery and power adapter.
  • Turn on the laptop.

External Monitor:

  • Connect your laptop to an external monitor using the appropriate cable.
  • Power on both the laptop and the external monitor.
  • Check if the display appears on the external monitor. If it does, there might be an issue with the laptop's display.

BIOS Reset:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Press the power button and immediately start tapping the "Esc" key repeatedly until the Startup Menu opens.
  • Press "F10" to enter the BIOS settings.
  • Look for an option to reset BIOS settings to default. This may vary by model, so refer to your laptop's manual.
  • Save changes and exit.

Memory (RAM) Check:

  • Reseat the RAM modules. If you're not familiar with this process, refer to your laptop's manual.
  • If you have multiple RAM modules, try booting with only one at a time.

Safe Mode:

  • Boot the laptop into Safe Mode. To do this, restart the laptop and press the F8 key repeatedly before Windows starts loading.
  • If it boots into Safe Mode, it could indicate a software issue.

System Restore:

  • If you have a recent system restore point, try restoring your system to that point.
  • To do this, you may need to access the Advanced Startup Options. You can get there by holding down the Shift key while clicking Restart from the Start menu.

Windows Recovery:

  • Use a Windows installation media to access the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE).
  • Select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Startup Repair."

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
