Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have notebook hp 15g-dr0008u product.

My laptop note book battery white led blinks 5 times when turned on or off and i want to resolve this issue.

I have tried other steps suggested in other answers like resetting power by holding power key for 12 seconds and reinstalling battery driver but when i turned off issue still remains same.

As I have inbuilt battery, so can't decide whether or not it would be advisable to open laptop back to remove battery and reinsert it.

Please help me if i should remove and reinsert battery or entirely replace it with new one?

Hi @Shashank_90

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I see that your laptop battery light blinks 5 times. Do not worry, we are here to help you with it.

Since the battery of your laptop is inbuilt, you don't have to remove it.

May I know from when are you facing this issue?

Did you make any changes to your system?

I would suggest you update all the drivers of your system to check if the issue persists. Here is a link that will help.

Along with that, please test the battery of your system. You may follow the steps using the link given here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2268927-1713329-16

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
