Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
I have a problem with my pc whereby when I turn it on the screen doesn't come on but the fan, the hdd and the lights on the keyboard work..
I've been having this problem for about 8 months tried scouring the web for every possible solution but couldn't find a working one.. Please help

With a blank screen, it's impossible to know what is going on. The boot might be failing. You might be getting a login screen. The drive might be dead and you're getting an error message you can not see.
Try connecting a monitor to the laptop and seeing what displays there when you restart the PC.
