Hi @ROBINHEUD1347,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To find the serial number on your HP laptop, you can try one of these methods.

Using HP Support Assistant:

  • Open HP Support Assistant (search for it in the Windows search bar).
  • Select My devices and then your laptop.
  • The serial number should be displayed on the Specifications tab.

Using Command Prompt:

  • Press Windows + R, type cmd, and press Enter.
  • In the Command Prompt window, type the following command and press Enter.

wmic bios get serialnumber

  • Your serial number will be displayed.

On a Label:

  • Look for a sticker on the bottom of your laptop or inside the battery compartment. The serial number is usually printed there.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
