Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When on the command prompt page I type in nslookup and get the reply "domain not found"  I am in the midst of IT courses and trying to play around, a bit perplexed by this.

Sorry, but we are not here to assist with classwork.  You need to be willing to research these kinds of issues on your own or you are never going to make it through any IT classes.  A simple Internet search on "nslookup" will reveal the details of the command along with examples.

That said, you also need to look into the limitations of being connected to a Domain -- which you claim you are.  Because in that case, the hos Domain places restrictions on what you can do.  Like the above, this is something you need to research and understand on your own.
