I placed a power on password which i still know but when i try to press esc then f10 to enter BIOS it asks for another password I am not aware existed. It says "ENTER ADMINISTRATOR OR POWER ON PASSWORD". Neither my administrator password or power on password satisfy this request. It gives me 3 tries then says system disabled. How do I disable this?

For that model and (HEX) code you will need to contact HP in your region and they should be able to generate your Master code from your “SYSTEM DISABLED CODE”
Contact Support >> http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
When talking to the HP rep ask them to escalate your service request.
I have also heard that some have had success removing the RTC/BIOS battery???

I did in the first reply to my post. Thing is ive tried the bios-pw.org site putting the system code in every way i could think of but no luck. Its a different code than those paramaters list as hp. It starts with an A followed by a 8 digit hexdecimal string of characters in brackets. Ex: A [U754JG67]
Anyways for an alternative method can i just pop out the cmos battery to reset bios on this model? Its hp pavilion 15z-ab000 CT0

Also to further clarify, i have installed a dual boot operating system so it can run either windows 10 home or kali linux from the same partitioned hard drive. Perhaps that may be the reason the password is not working but i use the same admin/root password for both operating systems so can't really say how that password came to be
