I have a HP mini 110 - 3130 and the touch pad has locked up. A small icon appears with a line across it. Once this icon fades the touch pad mouse stops working. Any suggestions to remedy this fault welcomed. There is no light or switch around the touch pad unlike some models

Hi,
Try double-tapping the top left corner of the touchpad - this is often the method to enable/disable the touchpad.
