Help i want to change the CMOS but it has a password. Googled tried removing battery, didnt work, also HPBR and couldnt create image on USB,  iwant to fit a new hard drive and load windows 10. please help

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

 

That was the only way it could be done.

Most HP business notebooks including the one you have, do not generate system disabled codes.

 

Also, removing the CMOS battery will not clear the P/W.
