My notebook is hp pavilion x360 model: 14-dw0007nl
ProdID: 2R347EA
Serial number: Removed
The pc doesn’t turn on and I tried holding the power button for 15s but all it does is going on and off
The computer seems charging fine because the charging light is on
What can I do?

@Irene2910, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
I understand your HP Pavilion x360 14-dw0007nl is not turning on, even though the power button light blinks and the charging light is on. Let's walk through some steps to help resolve this issue.
Perform a Hard Reset (Forced Reset)
This helps clear any residual electrical charge and resets hardware connections.
- Turn off the notebook (if it's on).
- Disconnect the AC adapter and all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.).
- Press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds.
- Reconnect only the AC adapter (no peripherals).
- Press the power button to try turning it on.
Check for LED Blink or Beep Codes
If the power button or other LEDs blink in a pattern (e.g., 2 long, 3 short), it could indicate a hardware issue.
- Count the number of blinks or beeps.
- Refer to this guide to interpret them: HP Notebook PCs - Computer beeps or a light blinks during startup | HP® Support
Try a BIOS Recovery
If the BIOS is corrupted, the system may not boot. You can attempt a BIOS recovery:
- Turn off the notebook.
- Press and hold Windows + B keys, then press and hold the Power button for 2–3 seconds.
- Release the power button but continue holding Windows + B for another 10 seconds.
- If successful, the BIOS recovery screen should appear.
If none of the above steps work, the issue may be hardware-related (e.g., motherboard, RAM, or power circuit). In that case, please visit the nearest HP authorized service center, the service team will check and assist you.
