My notebook is hp pavilion x360 model: 14-dw0007nl

ProdID: 2R347EA

Serial number: Removed

The pc doesn’t turn on and I tried holding the power button for 15s but all it does is going on and off

The computer seems charging fine because the charging light is on

What can I do?

@Irene2910, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand your HP Pavilion x360 14-dw0007nl is not turning on, even though the power button light blinks and the charging light is on. Let's walk through some steps to help resolve this issue.

Perform a Hard Reset (Forced Reset)

This helps clear any residual electrical charge and resets hardware connections.

  1. Turn off the notebook (if it's on).
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter and all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.).
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds.
  4. Reconnect only the AC adapter (no peripherals).
  5. Press the power button to try turning it on.

Check for LED Blink or Beep Codes

If the power button or other LEDs blink in a pattern (e.g., 2 long, 3 short), it could indicate a hardware issue.

Try a BIOS Recovery

If the BIOS is corrupted, the system may not boot. You can attempt a BIOS recovery:

  1. Turn off the notebook.
  2. Press and hold Windows + B keys, then press and hold the Power button for 2–3 seconds.
  3. Release the power button but continue holding Windows + B for another 10 seconds.
  4. If successful, the BIOS recovery screen should appear.

If none of the above steps work, the issue may be hardware-related (e.g., motherboard, RAM, or power circuit). In that case, please visit the nearest HP authorized service center, the service team will check and assist you.
