Here is the description of my issues.
1) I needed to run my laptop 24/7 (ESXI server) so disabled the display in the bios since I did not need the display for the ESXI server. And ESXI did not support turning off screen when idle
2) Now I need to run Windows again and obviously I do not have a display. When I turn on laptop, I get blank screen and blinking white LED on 'Caps lock' key. There is no display when I connect an external port VGA monitor or TV (via HDMI port).
3) I understand that I can reset the bios to default by disconnecting the CMOS battery. However before I disassemble the laptop, I want to ask here if there is any keyboard shortcut or any other procedure to reset the bios to default settings without disconnecting the battery?
Thanks.
