Last night while I was getting ready for bed I was letting my computer run some updates. I then unplugged it from the power since it was running slow earlier and that's usually what fixed that. it stayed like that the whole night. Not sure if it's important, but I feel it's worth mentioning.
The next day, today, I booted it up and it took me to the login screen with the pin after abit of loading, except it didn't let me enter my pin, instead it read "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again." I clicked to set it up and a window popped up for me to make a new pin, but it read "You'll need the Internet for this." and under it, " It doesn't look like you're connected to the Internet. Check your connection and try again."
I wasn't sure what was going on. Without my pin I couldn't log in, but without wifi I couldn't get my pin. There's no manual connection option like normal. Just small language, acceptability, and power options with their respective icons, and in the window I could only "Retry" or "Cancel." I've tried resetting my router, resetting the computer, and even turning it all the way off and cutting power like I did yesterday, but nothing really worked. If anyone could help out I'd be thankful.

1-Look for a "WiFI" icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Configure wifi and set your PIN. Use the same PIN.
2-If your laptop has an ethernet port then connect with a cable to the router.
3- Look for "login another way". if you created a local user account then this will get you in.
4-Hold down the shift key and boot into recovery mode.
