I excitedly turn on this brand new Pavillion desktop on and a small little tee taw tow group of five little boxes about the size of pennies appear at the bottom right corner of the screen then disappear back into a blank unlighted screen after five seconds. Thats it? Each time I press the on button it does the same thing. Although I placed new the new batteries in the remote mouse and keyboard I can't even tell if they are on, working or anything. This was supposed to be the most advanced computer in the store, with the largest solid state hard drive, the biggest RAM AT 16 GIG, the most sofisticated screen, and thats it? No booting, no welcome screen and btw no brochure to tell me to scratch its back or blow warm air on something to resusitate a chip or a fuse. I feel like such a fool not to have turned it on in the store before leaving with it.

I would like to humbly inform anyone who read my problem that it is now fixed. Apparently I was pressing a settings button that will do things before the power botton which is at the left side is switched on. I also noticed as it got darker that a small led light at the back of the computer comes on to do something. It isn't enough light to help me to see the outlets and peripheral sockets. Maybe I just need to get more used to it. Every other computer I have owned has indicators in the front or at least I could view them when seated in front of the computer. This computer is designed like a Tesla. The screen is beautiful to look at and there is no distractions; even the camera and mike are tucked away. It would be nice if the headset is also remote but I just don't know yet until I get my WiFi and set it up more properly. Bye everyone and anyone who also owns one please share anything that is important for me to know.
