Hallo,

 

ich habe mir eine SSD Festplatte gekauft und möchte diese als Boot Laufwerk verwenden.

Nach längerer Recherche habe ich herausgefunden, dass man im BIOS auf AHCI umstellen muss.

Jedoch hat mein Laptop nur eine abgespeckte Version des BIOS. Gibt es noch eine andere Möglichkeit oder kann man auf das erweiterte BIOS durch einen Trick zugreifen?

Hi:

 

The BIOS' drive controller setting is set to AHCI by default.

 

Ignore any reports you may see that indicate that AHCI is not enabled.

 

Your SSD will have full TRIM support, etc., with the current setting.

 

The problem is that AMD does not label its SATA AHCI controller as a AHCI.

 

it just labels it as an AMD SATA Controller in the device manager.
