Hello,
I'm back to trying to solve this problem.
I have had a few threads about it in the past, including this one:
But the problem still exists.
Basically if I let the screen go blank to save power, I can't get it to come back on. Touching the keyboard, touchpad, or touchsceen doesn't work. The power lights stays on and usually the fan kicks on high when this happens. The only way to solve it is to hold the power button for 5 seconds to do a reboot. Which is obviously frustrating when I'm working on something.
If I put the computer to sleep it will usually wake up when I tough the keyboard. But if the computer goes to sleep or turns off the screen itself I can't get it to wake up again.
This also happens if I put the PC to sleep then it wakes itself up to download an update. The next morning it will be blank and won't respond.
This is becoming more of an issue when I need to use the PC on battery power to save power, as my battery life isn't great anymore.
I'm open to all suggestions, starting from ground zero so I can track them and keep a good running log of all the changes I have done.
I'm currently running windows 11, which was probably a mistake, but the problem existed in Windows 10 so I don't think that's the issue.
Anybody got any suggestions where to start? All updates are current as of today.

I too had a problem like this, wherein the laptop when went to sleep/hibernate when waken up shows the lockscreen or black screen with no sign of waking up.
For me the way It got solved was maybe the settings in advanced power setting related to hard disk turning off or something(not surely remember now) was changed. I would suggest doing the restore to default and if that does not work just try to increase the time for hard disk or other setting untill something maybe work out.
