Hello,
I have updated the BIOS of my notebook, as recommended by HP to the latest version available. The install completed uninterrupted, however upon restart I received the stop code "Inaccessible Boot Device". I have tried Windows + B to recover BIOS, which did not work. I am currently attempting to install a previous BIOS version via USB, however I am encountering a number of setbacks. For the oldest BIOS versions, the ''HP BIOS Update Utility' used to create a bootable flash drive does not load. For the newer versions, I am able to create the bootable USB file through the HP BIOS Update Utility, however when I attempt to update in BIOS Management, I receive "The System BIOS update failed - Unable to open BIOS Signature file". Any insights appreciated.
