Since my ProBook 4740s updated to the latest BIOS it started to shut off every 30 minutes, regardless if I was in the BIOS screen, Windows, Linux etc. After I installed the Intel MEI Utility, it didn't detect the presence of Intel ME, just "Information Unavailable". Tried rolling back using System Diagnostics - gave me "Could not open the signature file". Tried doing the Win + B thing, and the laptop had a blank screen, fan at top speed, blinking capslock but no emergency recovery after waiting for 4 minutes. Tried loading factory defaults - didn't even seem to work. Hard resets? Nope. Any advice?
EDIT: Forgot to add, the BIOS on the laptop is F.68 Rev A, I tried rolling back to F.42
