Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just now opened HP support program on my laptop and updated the bios that was suggested by hp in this program.  Followed instructions to leave the laptop connected to mains electricity etc and install started.  Walked away while it was installing the new 2023 December bios F74 and now the computer is black screen and nothing works.

Disconnected power cord, removed battery, pressed power button for 15 seconds then reconnected battery and power cord amd pressed power button. Cooling fan starts but screen is black and can do nothing.

please help.
