Product: HP PROBOOK 640 G3 Corei7 (7600U)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need to reset the bios password. The product number is X4J24AV and Serial number is [edited]

Please help

Welcome to the HP Support Community @BLESS_KAY 

 

For that model you will need to contact HP in your region and they should be able to send you a customized SMC.bin file which you can use at boot to reset the password.

When talking to the HP rep ask them to escalate your service request.

 

Just to note:

 

Do not try removing the RTC battery.  It will not remove the password, but it will reset the clock - as SMC files are time coded, a large disparity between the system clock and the time encoded in the SMC  will cause it to fail.

i am in Zambia, Africa and i can't find the contact number for this country.Could you assist me by contacting the hp support from your area and ask them to provide you with the SMC.bin file for my Probook and then you can email it to me via my email address.
