Hi,

I did a windows update and restarted my laptop.  Now it will not start up. There is a Amber light where are the power supply plugs in, but there is no sound or fan or hard drive spin up at all. I have charged the battery overnight and I have tried all of the hard boot Examples that are given for my machine,. Including:

1)  Resetting the machine by I unplugging it and holding down the start button for 20 seconds then releasing it.

2) Restarting with the windows key and the B key held down. Then releasing the power button but holding the 2 keys for additional time. 

3) Restarting with the windows key and V key held down to reset the BIOS.

NONE worked.

Although it does not have a removable battery, I removed it and and plugged the power supply in. At that point the light near the plug in was white. However the device will still not start.

The battery does not appear compromised or bloated. I do not know if th8s is a result of the update or if that is coincidence.
