Hey, Recently I got my laptop fixed from my the Hp service centre near me according to google and the problem was about motherboard supply and charging related. The issue was resolved and the laptop started, but when I checked my laptop bios, i was completely shocked because firstly from the date of buying it shows my laptop model number as Hp Notebook 15-bs576tx but now it shows it as a commercial laptop with different laptop model named Hp 256 G6 notebook PC as shown in the picture below of the changed model name and other things -
After this I asked the repair shop person and confirmed that the motherboard is not changed only the components of its power supply is changed and there is no need of thinking about the bios and the model name changed. I asked the repair person that if the motherboard is not changed then how the model of the laptop is changed with the same serial number and product number , etc. He told me that the model number is changed due to the update of bios. But after this i got a new problem of wifi adapter in my laptop. The laptop is not responding to the wifi card in it, even I give him old wifi card to check and that also didn't work and the only reason he told me about the wifi that the both cards are shorted 🤨. In my opinion the new bios which is not laptop's original bio cause this problem of this wifi card being not detected
.
Can someone please assist on it ..........
Thanks In Advance.....................................
