Hi my laptop is one month old. Whilst working it suddenly made a noise like running a dvd althought doesn't have an external dvd drive. The laptop froze so I had to force shutdown by pressing down the start button for 30 seconds. Now my laptop doesnt start up and charger light doesn't go on. Can anyone shed some light please? I have tried pressing down start button for 60 seconds and putting in charger but nothing has helped so far.

Hi @CRLaptop
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
