Hi @RSH4608,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp112dx laptop won't power on and shows no lights. Here are the recommended steps to troubleshoot:

Step 1: Check Power Source and Adapter

  • Ensure the AC adapter is plugged in securely to both the wall and the laptop.
  • Try a different wall outlet.
  • If possible, test with a known working HP charger.

Step 2: Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Disconnect the AC adapter.
  2. If the battery is removable (not common in this model), remove it.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the AC adapter (leave the battery out if removable).
  5. Try turning on the laptop.

Step 3: Check for Signs of Life

  • Look for any LED lights near the power port or keyboard.
  • Listen for fan or drive sounds.
  • If no lights or sounds, the issue may be with the motherboard, power circuit, or battery.

Step 4: BIOS Restore:

1) Shut down the computer, keep the charger plugged in

2) Hold down the Windows and B buttons together while the computer is still turned off.

3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B buttons until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.

4) Follow the on-screen instructions and click on OK.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
